Is Shedeur Sanders throwing at the NFL combine?

Primetime’s son isn’t ready for primetime – at the NFL combine anyway.

Widely believed to be one of the 2025 NFL draft’s top-two quarterbacks, Shedeur Sanders is going to let that marinate a little longer. The focus has shifted to the NFL combine, which is an opportunity for prospects to change the minds of evaluators or boost their stock.

With Sanders’ stock already sky high, there was some question whether the quarterback would risk anything in an environment that isn’t controlled.

Now, at least for Sanders, the attention will turn to his pro day. Here’s what to know about his plans for the NFL combine.

Sanders will not throw at the combine, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The quarterback instead plans to interview with teams and let his film take care of the rest. Evaluators and fans looking to see Sanders sling it will have to wait until his pro day when he is expected to participate with his teammates.

A four-year starter, Sanders has put plenty on tape over the years. He played two years at Jackson State and the last two at Colorado, all of which came under his father, Deion Sanders, who also doubled as head coach.
